X-ZELL bolsters executive team with key appointment
Bangkok, August 2017 – X-ZELL, a global biotechnology firm specialising in rare cell detection technology, has announced the appointment of Sebastian Grote as Head of Marketing & Communications.
Grote most recently served as Managing Editor at Prime Creative Media, a Melbourne, Australia-based B2B publishing house, and will be reporting directly to X-ZELL CEO, Dr Sebastian Chakrit Punyaratabandhu Bhakdi.
“Sebastian can draw on more than 15 years of experience in the global media industry; working in print, television and online journalism across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region,” Dr Bhakdi explained. “We are genuinely excited to see Sebastian fill a key role in our team and help us shape the X-ZELL brand on a global level. He has made a vital impact on the Australian and international logistics industry and will no doubt leave his mark on the medical community, too.”
Grote, who has been named Prime Creative Media’s Editor of the Year twice and won the Australian Freight Industry’s ‘Young Achiever of the Year’ Award in 2015, first made a name for himself on the international stage as co-founder and long-standing editor of Global Trailer Magazine, a ground-breaking business publication serving the international transport equipment industry.
In his role as Managing Editor of Prime Creative Media’s Melbourne office, he went on to apply his knowledge to recruiting and training a new generation of business journalists, as well as the strategic evolution of Prime Creative Media’s rapidly expanding product portfolio. As an in-house consultant and Program Director of the Global Heavy Vehicle Leaders Summit, he also gained experience in strategic brand positioning, creative advertising and business strategy.
